Individual Tutoring, Small Groups and Clinics for GWAR Students
We provide weekly individual and group tutoring for students in GWAR classes; this type of tutoring is helpful for students who might benefit from on-going assistance with their writing. We can also arrange clinic hours for your students, in which students from a GWAR class meet two - three times over the course of the semester with an experienced tutor to work on a specific writing task or assignment. In the past, the LAC has provided clinics for GWAR students focusing on the following writing tasks: brainstorming ideas for writing assignments, organizing and classifying information, citing sources, reviewing APA or MLA citations, honing proofreading skills.
